Picture perfect

So I've been thinking about doing some crafty-like projects recently (although, I haven't gotten past the thinking to actually doing yet). I was in the GW yesterday looking for some Halloween costume accessories (btw, GW is short for "Goodwill" for all of you non-thug speaking folk) and saw some furniture diamonds in the rough... I though "Oooh, I could totes do something with that..."
OK so my crafty craze started this summer... Back in July I puchased this painting for $15.

I hammered out the painting and the inner fabric frame, removed the hanging wire and sanded down the splinters.

Then I spray painted it black and... voila!!
Instant photo GENIUSNESS!! Although I shamelessly stole this idea from some other wedding photos I'd seen, I was extremely pleased with my crafty awesomeness.

So now with the frame I already have (it's currently just sitting in my upstairs hallway collecting dust) I can't just let it go to waste, so I'm thinking I want to add a bunch more frames, and do something like this:

With all different sizes, maybe painted different shades of grey and/or black and some funky shapes, it could look really cool. :)

~OR~

And I've thought about this ever since seeing the wedding photos...
We did 4 really cute shots using the frame. I'm thinking I might frame those photos and hang them up inside the empty photo frame. Genius, right?? I thought so too...

Now my only problem is finding a wall big enough...

But I can't think about that right now... I must work. Bah! Although, now it's time for lunch. :)
